As CEO, Tim oversees all facets of The Peterson Company. With a degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue University, you’ll often find him on the job site to ensure the work is completed to the client’s satisfaction. The son of the late Howard “Pete” Peterson – known for his development of the Castleton Commercial Office Park and The Precedent office park on the Northeastside − Tim began following in his father’s footsteps at age 8, tagging along on visits to buildings and job sites, and learning a deep appreciation for the construction industry. When he’s not in the office, he loves spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.

As COO, Larry is involved with all the aspects of The Peterson Company, including direct oversight of the Construction, Maintenance and Property Management divisions. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, Larry has worked in the commercial development industry since 1999, and has led teams in land acquisition, land development and building construction in the commercial/industrial real estate arena. In his free time, don’t’ be surprised to find him on a golf course swinging a golf club left-handed, even though he’s right-handed in everything else in life.

As CFO, Don is involved with all things financial at The Peterson Company. With more than 30 years of experience as CFO of various sized businesses ranging from start-up companies to financial institutions, Don works very closely with his staff to ensure their accuracy and efficiency. He is a Certified Public Accountant, with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ball State University. When he manages to sneak away from the office, Don enjoys hanging out with his family and traveling.

As a Managing Partner at The Peterson Company, Brett oversees the Interior Construction team. He is primary estimator for all tenant finish work, and he oversees the completion of all interior construction projects directly or by supervising his project management team. The Ball State University graduate takes a hands-on approach on every project, whether it’s new construction, office tenant improvements, warehouses, doctor’s offices, restaurants, schools, or anything in between. Brett likes to hunt, fish and spend time with family.

As a Managing Partner at The Peterson Company, Bret oversees the New Construction team with a focus on client relations, pre-construction services, expanding markets and new opportunities. Before joining The Peterson Company in 2000, he earned his degree in Construction Technology from Indiana State University in 1997. With years of experience in the commercial construction industry, Bret has overseen multiple major projects. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys hunting or sitting by a quiet lake casting a fishing line.

As a Managing Partner at The Peterson Company, Dave oversees the Maintenance team, which is responsible for more than 150 buildings in the Greater Indianapolis area, including Peterson tenants and third-party property owners. Dave and his team thoroughly handle all commercial maintenance needs, including Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Lock & Key, Landscaping, Building Inspections, Painting and Trash Removal. With more than 25 years of facility maintenance, Dave also farms his own land in Muncie.

HVAC Manager Johnny Howard joined The Peterson Company in 2013. With more than 20 years of experience in HVAC, Johnny handles all HVAC needs, from estimating new jobs to providing preventive maintenance. He achieved EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification in 1994, ABC apprenticeship graduate in 2003, and HVAC instructor certification.

Matt Lyons joined The Peterson Company in 2007. Recently promoted to Maintenance Supervisor, he helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. He is also our resident locksmith, becoming certified in 2011. In his spare time, Matt and his wife, Emily, enjoy spending time with their five children.
